I started making this mix over 3 years ago and have been slowly tweaking it here and there as new music has come out. I am very happy to finally releasing this piece for you all to hear!! I first performed this mix in Sept 2016 live on the air at CKXU and since that time, the mix has been updated again!!

The Dark Side Of The Moon album from Pink Floyd has always been one of the most influential albums of my life. To honour their influence I have put together this arrangement of music. This is the entire album performed on turntables, completely remixed.

Remixed, you say? This can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. The longest standing trait I maintain in my performances is that any remix I play must stay true to the original track. I like to leave my audience room to sing and to be satisfied by the expected tension and release of a song, while giving them a completely new version of the track to tickle their ears with.

This philosophy absolutely applies to this mix. I want the listener to still be able to follow the journey they may normally take while listening to this album, while at the same time feel like they are hearing something new for the first time.

I also firmly believe that music should be completely available to those who would like to listen. This mix is free for you to download!! It is also set up as a pay-what-you can if you would like to support Rabbyt and hear more mixes like this!
